Cosimo

Cosimo is our third clandestine release this month and our first online polished Terrazzo. The origins of Terrazzo date back to the 15th century as a beautiful and economic way to use the many fragments of unused marble by stonemasons and artisans. It is now a craft within its own right. Our Terrazzo follows this age old tradition by using thousands of pieces of other ghosts within the one ghost, washing and polishing the ghost to create a smooth marble punctured with a myriad of colours. ‘Cosimo’ is an historic Italian name for Cosmos or Universe, perfectly encapsulating the concept of the many within the whole. Cosimo has been created by Miss Falconer, whose stamp is a Falcon in flight and will feature on each ghost.
