Junior Coppersmith
The Coppersmith Ghosts incorporate copper powder into the making - a procedure of sanding, buffing, burnishing and polishing is used to enliven the surface and bring about the warm copper lustre. They are ghosts with a weathered and worn appearance; there’s something ancient about their countenance.
Anthropologists believe copper to be the first metal used by humans, due to its softness and ease to manipulate. A coppersmith, also known as a brazier, is a person who makes artefacts from copper and brass and is one of the few trades that have a mention in the Bible.
We released a batch of 12 Original Coppersmith ghosts online last year. These are the little counterparts.
