Shambles Dandy #4

Congratulations on discovering this mysterious Shambles Dandy #4, a clandestine release and small batch of just 20 online - making this a rather collectable Ghost. The music clue that may have led you here was Beethoven’s 30th piano sonata, which was written and first performed in 1820. The release date today is the 30th and the time of release 18:20.

A Shambles Dandy is a flamboyant ghost colourfully patterned in a raffish style. Historically a “dandy” was a man who placed particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and leisurely hobbies, pursued with the appearance of nonchalance.

Dandyism had its roots in the Macaroni Club formed in London, England, in the 1760s by a group of rich young Englishmen who had just returned from a tour of Italy.

Each ghost has its own unique markings of unctuous drips and pours. No two are the same - every one is a true original and the fourth in our series of Shambles Dandies. The first Dandies were predominantly Lovat green with flashes of cinnamon and black, the second with a costume of lavender, lemon, pink and orange. Shambles Dandy #3 wore a black garment contrasted with white and citrus colours. Dandy #4 is has more pastel colours set against an ash grey ground.
